2) Write 2 letters after you finish reading (due Friday, September 9th)
- one letter (one page) from Olan to her husband Wang Lung before she dies (what are her final wishes? does she have anything to say to him before she dies? any regrets? anything to be angry about, etc?)
- one letter (one page) from Wang Lung to his sons at the end of the book (what advice or last requests would he tell them? does he have any regrets about his role as a father to them? does he like what kind of people they have become? does he have any regrets about his own life?)
